The SkyRocket team has been working very hard for the past week. We momentarily crossed the $600k market cap and are 284 HODLers strong. We absolutely appreciate the strength of the community, which has gotten stronger, working together through thick and thin. As a team, we will never disappoint our amazing community.
The COVID-19 Pandemic is ravaging globally. South Asia, particularly India and Nepal, have been brought down to their knees by the virus’s second wave. India has been getting a lot of attention and donations, fueled further by Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum. Vitalik donated more than $1 billion, donating all of his Shiba Inu tokens. We, the SkyRocket community, guided by the core value of community service, focused our community efforts towards Nepal. The COVID-19 situation in Nepal has received little attention in the western media. As our social media reach is growing and our $SKRT token hit a milestone, we decided to contribute some resources towards COVID-relief initiatives focused on Nepal. The SkyRocket team conducted multiple accounts of research and analysis. The team concluded that any kind of support would be of great help to the people of Nepal.
We have been in touch with various INGOs and NGOs that have been diligently working hard. In the process, we found “Hamro Team Nepal,” a fantastic organization that has been putting in a lot of effort and hard work to help and support the needy COVID-19 patients. Hamro Team Nepal has been doing its best in providing oxygen and other necessities to those who are very poor and cannot afford to buy anything. In addition to providing oxygen and medical necessities, Hamro Team Nepal, an organization based in Kathmandu, has also been providing, free of cost, food, and shelter for anyone in need of support. Through research, we concluded that any funds contributed to the efforts of Hamro Team Nepal would reap significant benefits towards societal healing.
The SkyRocket team has donated Rs. 100,000.00 to Hamro Team Nepal for their continuous support to the community. Hamro Team Nepal is officially registered as a Social Organization Of Nepal. Their primary goal is “Building Starvation, Clothless and Discriminationless Free Nation” “हुनेले दिने नहुनेले लिने”, which translates to “Give if you can, take if you need”.
SkyRocket’s contribution to the efforts of Hamro Team Nepal would not have been possible without the help of our awesome community members. We feel very proud to be SkyRocketers- doing one good thing to the community at a time. Our mission is to do good to the community- our $SKRT community and the global human community. The SkyRocket project started a week ago and is already working to save actual human lives. We as a community should take pride in ourselves.
We pray for the eternal peace of all the lost souls due to COVID-19, and we will work in advancing aid to the places and people that need it the most.
